This is in the Wellawaya Kotaveheragala village in Wellawaya District Secretariat Division of the Moneragala District of the Uva Province.

It is located at the 2nd mile post on the Wellawaya-Buttala road.

The remains of a  Dagoba on a square platform, vandalised by treasure hunters is found at this site. West of the Dagoba are the remains of a building and the area containing the ruins had a retaining wall built of rubble stone, part of which is presently visible.
