Ancient site at Serankada
The site is located in Serankada village in the Bintenna Divisional Secretariat Division of the Monaragala District of the Uva Province. It is on the right side of the road and could be reached by proceeding 7 miles from Serankada, which is at the 60th milepost on the Bibile-Mahaoya road.
On top of a hillock are four caves having six inscriptions in Brahmi characters. Evidence that the caves had been enclosed with brick walls is visible.
