The telecentre facilities generate income primarily by offering training in basic computer skills and internet access to local community groups and individuals. These revenues are enough to cover the day-to-day operations and stipends for the trainers, with more substantial overhead space, electricity costs, etc - borne by UPC. The radio station generates income from programme sponsorships and advertising sales, which are remitted to UPS, which covers local staff salaries and running costs. SLBC provides one management/editorial staff and one technician.
